This was a great project to work with my son. It worked great until the dog got to it. We are looking for others to build.
Some small pieces are a little difficult to put in. There are extra pieces in case and get lost. Had some difficulty shooting after it was all put together.
Perfect gift for a kid on a rainy day. When the pool’s closed and the weather is crummy this put-together wooden gun is a great thing to occupy time.
My dad is impossible to find a gift for. He has pretty much everything he wants. He loves to play COD, so I thought he would appreciate this little, silly gift. He did, even thouroghly enjoyed the putting it together process, and aiming it ay my sister (it doesn't hurt). I had a go and it was fun, we took turns at rounds as a family, aiming for the soldiers. Would recommend for any teens or man-sized boys (aka my dad(the biggest child ik))
I did this with my 7 year old and we loved it. I needed to do much of the assembly because pushing the pieces together needs slightly stronger hands than his. But he really enjoyed breaking out all the pieces and seeing how the springs go in. You get plenty of spares of the small - easily lost pieces. No glue involved and no tools. So you can't go wrong and you end up with something that works just as it should and looks great. We had fun making it and using it.
