The Siege Heavy Ballista

I got this for my daughter, husband, and myself to build together as an attempt at fun family time. I was very successful and it took us a couple of hours or so to finish. It actually works and we spent some time taking turns trying to knock down the little wooden Viking figurine that comes with it. Would absolutely recommend.

I bought the Ballista and Cannon bundle as a surprise for my husband and he honestly had a blast putting it together and now playing with, aka shooting our dogs lol. The instructions are just pictures, but he said it wasn't complicated at all and easy to follow. I am definitely going to be buying more products, more for myself now. This model once built should give you a ballista which actually rotates, elevates and fires.
It's made of wood, and is really good quality. including decent cogs.
The instructions are reasonable, but it was easy to go wrong and I ended up building it properly after a second attempt.
I'd say you can fire the bolts about 2-3 metres which is pretty impressive, though do watch out when doing so to ensure you don't hurt anyone!

These are never easy to build but they are the right amount t of challenge and fun. My son really enjoyed that this one shot things, of course! We’ve purchased about 10 of these kits and this was just as good as the others.

Assembly for a 10 year old required dads assistance. The build quality was incredibly surprising and included spare parts! My nephew was not impressed when he unwrapped it, but once he started building it, he absolutely loved this toy. He treasures the completed build, and was left wanting another one to do battle with! I highly recommend!
