I purchased for a father day gift, the finished model looks great. It really well designed and crafted with good instruction. My father enjoyed making it so much he brought himself another design

Have built a number of these and this one was one of the best. We have it plugged in often at night and it looks impressive I am told. Probably try a smaller one first but if you take your time and follow the instructions you should complete it.

It's probably complicated for me how ever it wasn't for me so my stepdad found it satisfyingly satisfied. I bought this for my stepdad who has vascular dementia (he's been a carpenter his whole life) and thus keeps his mind active for hours and hours.
So worth the build for him when he sees the outcome. He loves these things

A great model for my son to build but he needed help doing some of the fiddly bits.
Although you don’t need to glue anything it’ll be useful if you’ve been a bit heavy handed!
Only major problem was a faulty USB power cable which locks in and resulted in taking the base apart to release it. Thankfully it wasn’t the light ring inside the globe which would have been difficult to reach!
All in all a great kit and would have been 5* if the USB cable wasn’t faulty.
